About Me
loren- My name is Loren Cunningham and I am from Dunedin, New
Zealand.
I have been hairdressing since 2001 in New Zealand and Australia. I did
my apprenticeship here in Dunedin, then moved to Australia to work in
hairdressing. After spending 18 months in Australia I travelled around
Europe working casually when I went. Now I am hairdressing back in
Dunedin.
Although I enjoy all aspects of hairdressing my passion is for
colouring the hair. I find hairdressing to be a very versatile job,
every head of hair is different and I enjoy working with a varied
clientele. My exerience from working in Australia taught me many
different techniques than those we use here in New Zealand. I feel that
as hairdressers it is our duty to continue learning and expanding on
our skills because you never know which skill will suit which client.
I think I have learnt some valuable tips throughout my 9 years
hairdressing and wanted to share them with you. My ebook is based on
how to get the most from your trips to the salon and how to manage your
hair at home. It is not an ebook on how to cut and colour hair at home
because I think these things should be left to the professionals. Also
on this webpage I have included my top 10 tips for healthier hair.
